The Best New Christmas Songs of 2017

As much as we love cozying up to old-time Christmas classics or belting out to modern holiday staples, it doesn’t hurt to add a few refreshing additions to your list of festive favorites. Below are a few of the best from 2017 so far. Check this space for more updates as December 25th approaches.

#1 Lindsey Stirling – Carol of the Bells

#2 Gwen Stefani – You Make It Feel Like Christmas (Audio) ft. Blake

"Gwen Stefani's You Make It Feel Like Christmas" is a modern take on the traditional Christmas specials that we all grew up with and love. Featuring musical performances and fun holiday sketches, this one-hour primetime special will capture Stefani's infectious spirit and iconic style. It will take her accessible joie de vivre and the love in her heart and share it with audiences around the country.

Stefani will perform several songs from her new album, "You Make It Feel Like Christmas," as well as several holiday favorites, including "Jingle Bells" and "Santa Baby."

#5 Sia – Candy Cane Lane

"Candy Cane Lane," modeled after the holiday staple Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, is the first of three festive music videos that will be dispersed over the next three Fridays before Christmas, with visuals for Everyday Is Christmas' "Ho Ho Ho,” and "Underneath The Mistletoe” also planned to form a video trilogy.

#6 HANSON – Finally It’s Christmas

“We did that Christmas special 20 years ago with ABC, so we’re kind of pivoting off from that point,” Hanson explained to EW. “We sort of take you through [the past] and a little today, performing music like it’s from a Christmas special, and imagining what each of those eras looked like celebrating Christmas. It’s like time travel.”

#8 Sia – Snowman

Sia dropped the second single from her highly anticipated holiday album Everyday Is Christmas, and it's a ballad that is sure to get you in the spirit. The singer shared the ballad on Thursday, and it joins her recent up-tempo groove "Santa's Coming For Us." We really can't wait for the album to drop on Nov. 17, but until then, we'll be slowly swaying at our desks to this jam.

#9 This Christmas Night (ft. Dia Frampton) | Kaskade Christmas

Kaskade is unapologetically in love with the holiday season and wanted to share the joy of music in the form of Kaskade Christmas released this month. Kaskade Christmas has a modern twist on familiar songs like Deck The Halls, Silent Night and Santa Baby that were cheerfully reinvented in Kaskade’s creative process. Kaskade also created some spirited originals like This Christmas Night and It’s Beginning To Snow, giving the album a sexier, inviting tone. If you’re on Santa’s naughty list, this 13 track musical sleigh ride is for you. It’s a sultry, romantic take on the warmth Christmas brings, so indulge it fire side with your boo.

#10 Lindsey Stirling – Christmas C’mon feat. Becky G

As the song starts, you'll hear the mellow sound of Lindsey's violin, followed by an uptempo beat. The energetic hook is guaranteed to make you want to put on your most glittery outfit and dance the night away at a holiday party. With lyrics that invoke the images of mistletoe and a burning fireplace, it's hard not to get excited for the winter months ahead (yes, even though it's still fall right now).
