A social media influencer who was “brought to tears” at the thought of spending two weeks in mandatory quarantine got fined after allegedly escaping from lockdown in Australia, police and local reports said.

The 39-year-old woman — identified in media reports as podcast host Sarah Josephine Liberty — fled a Marriott Hotel in Sydney through a fire exit around 10 p.m. Saturday, New South Wales police said.

A hotel guard spotted Liberty, who was supposed to be quarantined in her room after arriving from Paris, France, and tried to stop her.

“Following a short struggle, she ran through the exit and was chased on foot before disappearing from sight,” cops said in a statement.

Officers found her about 45 minutes later at nearby Circular Quay and hauled her back to the hotel, before taking her to a hospital for assessment.

It’s unclear why she had to be taken to the hospital. Cops said she was released a short time later and transferred to a different hotel managed by the New South Wales Ministry of Health.

She was slapped with a $1,000 fine for allegedly breaking local quarantine orders stemming from the coronavirus pandemic.

Police also said the sprinkler system in her hotel room had been “significantly damaged” and that a probe into the damage was underway.

A day before the alleged escape, Liberty posted that she was hit with a “wave of anxiety” after realizing she’d have to be “locked in a hotel room for the next 2 weeks.”

“I’ll confess, it brought me to tears,” she wrote on Instagram.

Still, the Sydney native, wrote that “I understand why confinement is necessary and am so happy to be home,” before asking her followers to wish her good luck for the next two weeks.

Liberty didn’t return a request for comment from The Post.
