Jon Stewart to Mitch McConnell: Pass 9/11 Victim Funding ‘Keep Your Word’

Friday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Stories,” former Comedy Central’s “Daily Show” host and 9/11 victims’ advocate Jon Stewart continued his stress on Senate The huge bulk Chief Mitch McConnell to reauthorize the 9/11 Victims Fund.

Stewart reported, “We just want to make absolutely sure we have a deadline. The Senate the greater part chief mentioned to them individually this would be completed by the August recess. That is August 2. So we’re heading to hold him to that word. It has to be completed by August 2. It has to be thoroughly funded. Then every person can exhale and go home.”

Stewart described, “They should really do by August 2 and let’s be carried out with it. Continue to keep your phrase.”
