PwC fined $five.eight million more than audit of Redcentric

LONDON (Reuters) – Britain’s accounting watchdog mentioned on Thursday it has fined PwC four.55 million pounds ($five.eight million) about its auditing of IT professional solutions enterprise Redcentric.

The Economical Reporting Council reported it has also required that PwC, just 1 of the world’s “Big Four” accounting corporations, overall health supplement the checking and assistance of its audit practice in the northern English city of Leeds.

Two partners, Jaskamal Sarai and Arif Ahmad, had been fined 140,000 lbs . every single person.

All fines had been discounted to mirror an early settlement of the situation.
