Quake of magnitude 6.1 strikes north of Japan’s Okinawa: USGS

SINGAPORE (Reuters) – An earthquake of magnitude six.one struck north of Japan’s islands of Okinawa on Saturday, the United States Geological Survey explained.

There had been becoming no rapidly opinions of issues or casualties from the quake, which hit at a depth of 257 km (160 miles), about 346 km (215 miles) north of Naha, the capital of the prefecture.
