Two tankers evacuated in Gulf of Oman, crew secure: sources

DUBAI (Reuters) – Two tankers have been evacuated immediately after an incident in the Gulf of Oman and the crew are protected, four delivery and trade sources explained on Thursday.

The sources determined the tankers as the Marshal Islands-flagged Front Altair and the Panama-flagged Kokuka Brave.

There was no speedy confirmation from ship operators or authorities in Oman or neighboring United Arab Emirates, in whose territorial waters four tankers had been hit extremely final thirty day period.
